William and Barbara Ahlers v. Subaru of America, Inc.
On March 31, 2017, Consumers William Ahlers and Barbara Ahlers purchased a new 2017 Subaru Outback from Grand Prix Subaru, Hicksville, New York. The consumer’ brought the vehicle in for service alleging that the car would not start. The vehicle had to be towed in several times. At one point the lift gate opened on its own. The battery was replaced three times and the EMC had to be updated.

Laurie Golowach v. General Motors Corporation
On April 9, 2018, Consumer Laurie Golowach leased a new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse from Atlantic Chevrolet Cadillac, Bay Shore, New York. The consumer brought the vehicle in for service alleging that the vehicle was making popping sounds, the emergency brake would come on by itself, there was a burning smell coming from the dash board, the headlights weren’t working and the car wouldn’t start on several occasions. The consumer brought the vehicle in for service several times alleging the same things were wrong with the vehicle.

Howard Zodicoff v. Maserati
On May 1, 2017, Consumer Howard Zodicoff leased a new 2017 Maswerati Ghibli S Q4 from Maserati, Plainview, New York. The consumer brought the vehicle in for service alleging that the wheel liner came off, the radio was making a buzzing sound, the Bluetooth was inoperable. The vehicle was brought in several times for electrical issues and recalls.

Maryanne & Michael Hinchy v. Nissan North America
On September 1, 2017, Consumers Maryanne and Michael Hinchy purchased a new 2017 Nissan Murano from Legend Nissan, Syosset, New York. The consumers brought the vehicle in for service alleging that the right front floor was leaking, the carpet was wet and the car smelled.

David Casamento and Andrew Berends v. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC
On May 30, 2018, Consumers David Casamento and Andrew Berends purchased a new 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Velar from Land Rover Huntington, New York. The consumer’s brought the vehicle in for service several times alleging that the Sirius radio cuts in and out, handle cover was loose, the infotainment system crashes continuously, the two screen were crashing and that the two screens blackout and do not respond. The consumer’s also alleged that the steering wheel was not operating correctly. It would not go in, out, up or down. The system had to be replaced and updated.

Nabieva Madina v. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC
On August 16, 2016, consumer Madina Nabieva purchased a new 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS 550 from Benzel Busch Motor Car Corp., Englewood, New Jersey. The consumer brought the vehicle into Benzel Busch for service alleging that the windshield was distorted. The windshield was replaced. That the malfunction lights were coming on and the display showed that the rear air bag was not working.

Kathleen Friedman v. Audi of America
On September 26, 2017, Consumer Kathleen Friedman, leased a new 2017 Audi A4 from Legend Autorama LTD, Amityville, New York. While the consumer was on vacation, they had to have the vehicle towed to Kinney Motors in Vermont for service alleging that the check engine light was on, the auto stop malfunction, vehicle lights malfunction, drive system malfunction and parking brake malfunction.

Bentley, McLaren, BMW and Mini Cooper Vehicles
Anthony T. Ballato, Esq., has successfully handled and settled cases involving various models of Bentley, McLaren, BMW, Mini Cooper and many other vehicles. However, due to the manufacturer’s strict settlement agreements containing confidentiality clauses for these makes, the names of the consumers, specific vehicles and terms of the settlements cannot be published

Kevin Aldrich v. FCA US LLC
On September 20, 2017, Consumer Kevin Aldrich purchased a new 2017 Dodge Ram Longhorn from Westbury Jeep, New York. On October 17, 2017, the consumer brought the vehicle into Westbury Jeep for service alleging that the rear defrost does not work and that the lines on the back window have scratches, the tail gate is damaged and the climate control keeps coming on the screen.

Robert Rapisarda v. FCA US LLC
On April 16, 2018, Consumer Robert Rapisarda purchased a new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep, Port Jefferson Station, New York. On July 3, 2018, the consumer brought the vehicle to Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep for safety recalls.
